Who is this Program For:
Professional woman who have taken charge of her life after a life altering experience. Due to circumstance, pressures, choice – you did not give your baby away or surrender him/her as if it was a war – you released your child to adoption.
You are now ready to fill the hole within you so you can live your life whole.
I use the SURF method (Say Goodbye, Understand, Refine or Reframe, and Follow-through) to help you align your life.
S - Say Goodbye
We start by saying goodbye to the secrecy that keeps you small.
Saying goodbye doesn’t mean forgetting; it means making room to feel, understand, and reframe so you can take the next steps to being/feeling whole.
U - Understand
Understand the story(ies) you were given — how judgment, coercion, or circumstance shaped your choices and your self‑story.
We look at the beliefs you’ve carried and separate what’s true from what was handed to you.
This clarity makes shame less convincing.
Refine and Reframe
Learn practical tools to shift how you talk to yourself, to reclaim parts of your identity that were set aside, and to make small, steady choices that build confidence.
Follow Through
With follow through you receive gentle accountability and real steps so your journey to wholeness becomes a part of you.
About Me
Sandra (Sandy) Menzies, MS, PCC
I know what it means to carry a story in silence — and what it takes to rebuild a life from it.
When I was eighteen, I released my daughter to adoption. I was shamed, silenced, and left to navigate the aftermath alone. I kept moving — through college, career, and every obstacle in front of me — but I did it with a part of myself sealed off.
On the outside, I looked capable and high‑functioning. Inside, my arms still ached for the child I loved and lost.
Over time, the weight of what I’d buried began to show up in ways that didn’t match who I believed myself to be. That’s when I committed to real change. I learned boundaries, self‑leadership, and the difference between reacting from old wounds and choosing from clarity. I learned how to say, without shame, I am a mother.
Today, I coach women over 50 who released a child to adoption and now feel something missing — identity, direction, or a sense of wholeness. I help them move from carrying their story alone to living with steadiness, self‑respect, and choice.
